Melodyly ("we", "us") is a song-gift service operated from Lithuania. You can reach us any time at hello@melodyly.com. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You tell us about someone; a real musician writes and records a personalized song and we deliver it as a private, shareable gift page. Every song is a one-off creative work — no two are alike, and small artistic choices are part of the product.
In creating your song, our musicians may use modern production tools — including AI-assisted tools for parts of the writing, composition, vocals or production. The song is always directed by a human musician working from your brief, but portions of the final work may be generated or enhanced with such tools.
You fill in the song brief, and we produce a free 60-second preview. You pay only if you decide to unlock the full song. Each length tier includes a set number of revision rounds (shown at ordering); a revision is a reasonable adjustment to the existing song, not a brand-new song. Until you pay, you owe us nothing.
We aim to deliver your preview within 72 hours of submitting your order — or within 24 hours with the Rush add-on. These are targets we take seriously, not guarantees: rarely, a song may take longer, and we'll keep you informed on your order page. Rush fees are refunded if we miss the rush window by our own fault.
Payments are processed by Stripe, acting as merchant of record. Your payment details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Any applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Stripe at checkout and shown before you pay.
Because every song is a personalized, made-to-order creative work produced only after you approve a preview, paid orders are generally not refundable once the full song is unlocked. If something is genuinely wrong — the song doesn't match your brief, a technical fault, a double charge — contact hello@melodyly.com and we'll make it right, including a refund where appropriate. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
The stories, names, photos and notes you provide stay yours. You grant us (and the musician working on your order) permission to use them solely to create and deliver your song. Don't submit anything unlawful, hateful, or that you don't have the right to share — we may decline or cancel such orders (with a refund of anything paid for undelivered work).
Once unlocked, you may play, download and share your song and gift page for personal, non-commercial use — gifting it is the whole point. The underlying composition and recording remain with Melodyly and the musician. If you'd like commercial rights (ads, monetized content, resale), write to us and we'll sort out a license.
Keep your copy: songs and gift pages are available for 2 months. The song files, the cover photo and the gift page stay online for 2 months after delivery (or after the preview, for orders that were never unlocked) and are then deleted automatically. The dates are shown on your order and gift pages — download the song before then to keep it forever. Your order history remains in your account after the files are removed.
Keep your login credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service, our musicians, or these terms.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for events outside our reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date above always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania; EU consumers also keep the protections of their home country's law. Disputes go to the courts of Lithuania unless consumer law lets you choose your local courts.
